When Googling "Best Things To In Whistler" you'll notice that many of the lists recommend that travellers take a day trip to Pemberton. And for good reason.
Pemberton is a small, culturally-rich community just 30-minutes drive north of Whistler. Visually, downtown looks like the set of a western cowboy movie, in sprawling meadows against a backdrop of dramatic snow-capped mountains, chief of which is the iconic Mount Currie.
Getting here is an easy drive along a beautiful scenic stretch of the Sea To Sky Highway. When you arrive in Pemberton you'll quickly see why people love it here. Pemberton is a curious travellers paradise, bursting with enough incredible guided and self-guided adventure, culture, and culinary experiences to fill a whole summer. In many ways it's very much like Whistler, but slower – perfect for when you feel like a change in pace on your vacation.

Whistler Horseback Riding
Edward Abby said "the clearest way to the Universe is through a forest wilderness" and if there is one thing that Whistler and Pemberton have in abundance it's forest wilderness. Of course, if you were to ask us we'd say that the best thing to do in Whistler (and to experience the natural beauty of this region) is a horseback riding trip...and so would our guests, so we'll let them take it from here.
